Yellow fabric

I bought some yellow fabric today…

I have been asked by some local ladies to help to make some blocks for a charity quilt. A fabric company has sponsored this by sending a jelly roll of fabric to start us off, and the colours are mainly yellow, with some blue and brown.

I don’t usually (ever) sew with this colour, so this will be a challenge.

So far, I have cut out some blocks, and will post pictures once they are made up.

Finished!

I have finished quilting the blue strippy quilt!

The exciting part is taking it off the frame and seeing what it all looks like together.

Now it needs binding, finishing, and a label. It will be entered in a class in Muker Show (our local agricultural show) in September.

Easter Garden

We had a creative afternoon with some local children last week and made an Easter garden in our churchyard:
